This month saw great successes for our Child Protection partnership projects with UNICEF in retaken areas of Ninewa.

In the area of Deril, Mosul district, our services have been providing children with the opportunity of making their own handicrafts such as jewelry and paintings. We were so impressed by the results produced by the children over the course of this project we held an exhibition to show off these amazing creations to parents and community members.

In the Baybokht area we have provided recreational activities such as a small football league for those children aged between 12 and 17 years.

These recreational activities provide support for children who have witnessed the atrocities of conflict and give a chance to help them reclaim their own childhood.
