JIAN JOB CENTER: ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT PROJECT FOR IDP WOMEN AND MEN

Project Objective: Job center for creation of job opportunities for Iraqi IDPs and Syrian refugees in Dohuk, Erbil, and Kawragosk

Project Description: Establishing a job centre in Dohuk and Erbil to make assessment, provide vocational training, and create job opportunities for IDPs. Likewise, establishing a sewing centre in Kawragosk camp as a source of income generation and economic empowerment to IDP and refugee women to protect them from gender based violence and abuses.

Project Outcomes: Trained 97 women on vocational training and conduct job seekers assessment for 400 males and females in Erbil and Dohuk.
