Summary: The programme will provide women and men with the support needed to address long term trauma caused by violent conflict and instil a sense of normalcy in their lives. The project will aim to reduce the risk of GBV through the provision of a women’s safe space, home visits by community out-reach mobilizers and emergency support and awareness raising sessions.

General Objective: To reduce the overall risk of GBV and strengthen prevention and response services.

Specific Objective: Women, men, girls and boys have increased access to protection, case management, PSS and VTC services; and risks of GBV are reduced through community engagement activities.

Outcomes

1) A reduction in the risk of Gender Based Violence (GBV)

2) A strengthening of self-empowerment service provisions through improved access to culturally appropriate quality prevention and response services for survivors of (S)GBV and those most at risk through survivor-centered approach.”
