Through its project partnered with WVI and UNHCR in Koya, WRO is working to establish a Community Based Protection Committee (CBPC) represented by members from the refugee, IDP and the host community and empower them to provide GBV protection support to the community through social cohesion. WRO in cooperation with WV held meetings with the Mayor of Koya, Director of the Directorate of Violence Against Women, and police representatives to engage them in the process.
