WROs amazing team in Koya joined the event marking the 1 year anniversary of the brutal attack on the Yizidis in the Sinjar Mountain by ISIS. Thousands lost family members in the attack and were left with nothing, severely traumatized physically and psychologically. The staff met with the families, discussing their situations and offering them support available through our center in Koya. The center staff was also visited by the Mayor of Koya and the Director of DVAW who were very impressed with the team and offered their support.
